Dutch technology goes global under the wings of Thales
Amersfoort, 12 July 2022 – The Dutch platform for digital access, OneWelcome, announced today that it has entered into an agreement to be acquired by Thales, a leading provider of cybersecurity solutions. With this acquisition, OneWelcome is able to roll out its state-of-the-art identity and access management platform globally. Customers and partners will benefit from expanding the company’s product portfolio with Thales' cybersecurity, data protection and privacy technologies. Investments in the OneWelcome technology will also be intensified as part of Thales' Digital Identity and Security Business Unit.
One-stop shop for digital access, from employees to consumers
For twenty years, Thales has been a leader in advanced authentication and access management technology for internal employees’ access to enterprise applications in the cloud and on-premises. With the addition of OneWelcome, Thales is able to serve not only employees but also consumers, enterprise customers, business partners and all other external users.
